A stargazing company that stopped renting its own front desk

The situation

Brad was paying an agency $250 a month to maintain a $5,000 WordPress site he couldn't edit.

Bookings ran through Rezdy at $99 AUD a month plus 3% of every online booking, plus card fees on top.

Stargazing lives and dies on weather, and there was no way to cancel a session and rebook everyone without doing it by hand, one email at a time.

What got built

A twelve-page site rebuilt around his own photography and film.
A booking system with the card payment taken on his own domain, seats held safely under load, and a back-office his staff run the night from.
Weather cancellation that emails every affected guest a free rebooking link in one action. Fifteen booking platforms were pulled apart during the research and not one of them automates this.
Every historical booking migrated across and reconciled to the cent before anything was switched off.
An iOS and Android app with a live sky map, now on both stores.
